White Sepote
Cardiff Tiny Farm · EncinitasDon’t let the simple green exterior fool you. White sapote has a soft, custard-like flesh with a sweet, delicate flavor often compared to banana, vanilla, peach, and pear. When fully ripe, it’s delicious eaten straight with a spoon, blended into smoothies, or chilled for an almost dessert-like treat.
TipLeave white sapotes at room temperature until they become noticeably soft, similar to a ripe avocado. Avoid eating them while still firm, as the flavor and texture improve dramatically as they ripen. Once soft, refrigerate and enjoy within a few days. The skin may bruise or darken as the fruit ripens, which is usually normal.

That means no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical sprays on the food we grow. We started farming because we wanted to know exactly how our own food was grown, and to be able to trust what we were feeding ourselves and our community. That is a standard we do not intend to compromise.
