Sage Mountain Farm

Anza

Sage Mountain Farm is one of the region’s largest local farms, supplying many of the staple vegetables featured in our CSA boxes.

Sage Mountain Farm plays a foundational role in helping make our CSA program possible. Operating over 100 acres in Southern California, Sage Mountain is one of the largest and most important local farms within our regional food system, growing a wide range of staple crops including potatoes, onions, peppers, squash, and other seasonal vegetables that regularly appear in our weekly CSA boxes. While much of our greens and herbs are grown directly here at the tiny farm, it’s partnerships with farms like Sage Mountain — facilitated through Foodshed Cooperative — that allow us to provide the diversity, consistency, and abundance our customers have come to expect throughout the year. Their scale and reliability help strengthen the broader local food ecosystem while still maintaining a strong commitment to regenerative and community-oriented agriculture. What we especially appreciate about Sage Mountain is their ability to grow staple produce at a meaningful scale without losing sight of quality. Their vegetables consistently arrive fresh, flavorful, and deeply reflective of the care behind their farming practices. In many ways, Sage Mountain represents an essential bridge between small community farms like ours and the larger regional infrastructure needed to build a truly resilient local food system.
