Solidarity Farm

Valley Center

Solidarity Farm is a regenerative family farm whose work helped lay the foundation for San Diego’s modern local food movement.

Solidarity Farm is a regenerative farm in San Diego County dedicated not only to growing nutrient-dense food, but to rebuilding the relationships between land, farmers, and community. Founded and operated by a deeply mission-driven farming team, Solidarity Farm has become one of the most influential forces within the region’s local food ecosystem — helping demonstrate what a truly connected and resilient food system can look like in practice. Beyond the farm itself, the team behind Solidarity also founded and operates Foodshed Cooperative , the farmer-led food hub that has become absolutely essential to our own CSA operations. Through Foodshed’s aggregation and distribution network, we’re able to source incredible produce from farms across Southern California while maintaining a deeply local and relationship-centered supply chain. In many ways, Solidarity’s work helped create the infrastructure that allows small farms like ours to exist and thrive within a collaborative regional food system. What we especially admire about Solidarity Farm is their commitment to cooperation over competition. Their work reflects the belief that healthy local food systems are built through shared knowledge, mutual support, and long-term stewardship of both land and community.
