Stehly Farms Organics is a multigenerational family farm based in Valley Center, California, whose roots in Southern California agriculture stretch back nearly a century. Originally founded in the 1920s and later reimagined by brothers Jerome and Noel Stehly, the farm has become one of the region’s most respected organic growing operations — producing citrus, berries, avocados, and seasonal produce with a strong commitment to stewardship and long-term ecological health. A large portion of the berries and tangerines we share through our CSA program come from Stehly Farms via Foodshed Cooperative, helping us provide fruit that is consistently fresh, flavorful, and deeply reflective of Southern California’s growing conditions. Their strawberries, blackberries, and citrus have become staples within our boxes and are often among the items our members get most excited about each week. What we especially appreciate about Stehly Farms is the balance they strike between scale and integrity.
