Jane’s Baking Co. has been part of the tiny farm story since the very beginning. Back when we first launched our small farm stand in 2022, Alina began supplying handcrafted loaves that quickly became one of the defining staples of the stand itself. In fact, we used to joke that we weren’t really running a farm stand at all — we were running a “bread stand that sold produce.” And honestly, the joke wasn’t far off. People would arrive early specifically for her bread, often leaving with armfuls of loaves alongside their vegetables. Her baking carried the kind of quality and intentionality that people immediately recognize: deeply flavorful, beautifully textured, and made with extraordinary care. But what made her presence so impactful went beyond the bread itself. Alina brought a level of thoughtfulness, integrity, and quiet excellence that deeply shaped the spirit of those early farm stand mornings. She is one of those rare people who commits wholeheartedly to whatever craft or pursuit she’s engaged in, always leading with care and authenticity. While she has since taken an extended step away from baking, her influence remains woven into the farm’s origin story and the sense of community we continue trying to cultivate today.
