Always Hungry Grocery & Goods is far more than a grocery store — it’s a deeply community-centered space built around the idea that food can connect people, support local makers, and create a stronger local culture. Founded by Katie Jayne, Always Hungry was created with the mission of spotlighting exceptional local artisans, farmers, and food producers while turning the everyday act of grocery shopping into something joyful, intentional, and human. From beautifully curated pantry items and fresh prepared foods to pop-ups, workshops, and gatherings, Always Hungry has become one of the most vibrant community food spaces in North County. Their commitment to supporting local producers aligns deeply with our own values at the farm. We’re grateful to supply flowers and salad greens to the shop, allowing produce and blooms grown at the tiny farm to become part of the broader community they continue cultivating. Always Hungry is also a co-host of our monthly “Out to Brunch” community gathering — a collaborative event centered around good food, conversation, creativity, and bringing people together around the table. Partnerships like this remind us that local food systems are about far more than transactions; they’re about relationships, trust, and creating spaces where community can genuinely flourish.
