Yasukochi Family Farms has been growing in Oceanside since 1929. Their CSA is built for households that want a lot of produce — generous boxes and delivery across much of San Diego County.
Cardiff Tiny Farm is a younger, growing program. We grow our own salad mixes and microgreens as well as curate from several North County farms, name every grower, and sell credits instead of a weekly subscription. Our focus is on quality and transparency, and not necessarily volume.

Yasukochi is a local farm with a long history and established CSA program in San Diego County. They offer a generously sized box for a good value and good delivery coverage across San Diego.

Both services are working in different ways to bring better food into people’s homes and create opportunities for local farmers. We admire what Yasukochi is doing and appreciate their imapct on expanding peoples interest in supporting local farmers. At the end of the day, the right choice depends on what you value most.
