Natural Dye Workshop

Join us for a 2-hour hands-on, beginner-friendly natural dye workshop set among the beautiful gardens of Cardiff Tiny Farm. In this immersive experience, you’ll learn the fundamentals of working with botanical and food-waste dyes while creating your own set of four naturally dyed linen napkins.

Together, we’ll walk step-by-step through how to properly prepare your fabric so that natural color bonds and remains vibrant through washing, wearing, and everyday use. You’ll also learn how to create and care for dye baths using flowers, plants, kitchen scraps, and other natural materials sourced from both home and garden.

Whether you're curious about sustainable textiles, looking to learn a new craft, or simply craving a creative community experience, this workshop is a wonderful place to start. No previous experience required—just curiosity, joy, and a willingness to explore nature’s color palette.
